Today we’re talking about using keywords to increase your visibility and sales. What is a keyword? A keyword is a commonly searched term related to your content. Using keywords helps ensure that your content shows up when a relevant search is made, giving you more exposure to potential customers. Keywords and SEO (search engine optimization) are very important within clip sites, not just for things like Google and Bing. Keywords aren’t only “porn words” but they’re also adjectives, descriptors, and your own username How to find relevant keywords Look at your content - what is included in it? Include every activity you do in the video, however brief or non-central to the video. Look at your body - what do you look like? Describe yourself in individual words and short phrases. Hair colour, body type/shape, tattoos, piercings, outfit, etc. Check out keywords that are utilized in popular or trending videos and see if you can incorporate them into your own content that’s already recorded or potentially for future content Research synonyms for the categories and keywords you already use Understanding where keywords matter Keywords matter in more places than just your title and description Your photo titles, video preview title, and any other media that is uploaded in conjunction with your content or as a preview on your profile can also help improve your traffic if you utilize keywords within them Familiarize yourself with high traffic and medium traffic keywords High traffic keywords will likely get you a lot of views but not necessarily a lot of conversions because these are “hot” categories that many people post about Medium traffic keywords will get you less views than high traffic keywords but they’ll also have higher conversion results because these keywords/categories typically have less performers posting about them It’s best to use as many keywords as possible so when you create your posts, profiles, or uploads try to utilize a good mix of both keyword types For example: balloons would be a “high traffic keyword” because it’s easy to identify, obvious, and a lot of people with a balloon fetish search balloon/balloons. To take advantage of people with more of an interest in balloons you may want to use a “medium traffic keyword” like looner within your title or description as well, it’s a term a serious balloon lover would also think to search and since they know more about the fetish they are more likely to be converted into a purchase. Learning these keywords comes along with learning about the content categories and niches you cater to! Where to use keywords in clips Categories - Choose the maximum number of categories (5) no matter what. Title - Cute titles are great, but titles with keywords will give you an edge. Description - Take advantage of the space you have and write a longer, fleshed-out description using the keywords you identified. Struggling to include body-type descriptors? Try writing in third-person. “Tags” - Add a list of keywords at the end of your description to increase your SEO. Where to use keywords on cam Room topic/title - This is usually the first thing a potential spender will see Tip goal - Using enticing keywords will make customers more likely to spend towards your tip goal Tip menu - A tip menu that utilizes specific keywords is more likely to attract the attention of a customer (i.e. Flash Tits, Flash Pussy, etc. is more enticing than just Flash) Where to use keywords in your profile Depending on which site you utilize you’ll want to make sure that any editable content includes keywords because these sections are generally crawled by search engines to help bring attention to your page when people search your name or specific types of porn If the website you use has a tagline section and a biography/about me section, make sure to speak in third person when talking about yourself and your content, your username is actually one of your most important keywords! Why are keywords important? Keywords make your content easier to find within the sites that you post your content to as well as on search engines The more keywords you use in your title, description, tags, and more will result in a larger potential audience finding your content by searching for that type of content Keywords add “readable” content to your videos and surpass the search value of your video preview and preview image by providing websites and search engines with the actual specifics of your content MODEL FEATURE: Espi Kvlt The next episode drops on July 30 at 6pm Eastern / 3pm Pacific.
