“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
— Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King fought against systems that judged people by their bodies and denied them dignity through action and law.
Today, it’s not only about what people do, but about what they are allowed to say, think, or question — and how quickly disagreement can turn into division.
We have shifted from judging behavior to policing words, beliefs, and intentions.
From “don’t harm others” to “don’t think differently.”
Fear of difference once targeted bodies.
Now it often targets minds.
I wonder what Dr. King would say about how our world is evolving.
Would he be proud of how far we’ve come — and concerned about how easily we silence one another?
