I recently did my second takeover on ManyVids snapchat, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! For my first takeover I focused more on just gaining traffic for my page - it resulted in a fair amount of snapchat purchases and a few video sales. In my most recent takeover, however, I was able to make over $600! I decided to share a few tips that I hope will help other models have a successful takeover!  

1. Branding! This is your big opportunity to really get your name out there, you have Manyvid’s entire fan base at your fingertips! Be sure to take advantage by tagging each one of your photos with some of your social media. Include your twitter tag, your broadcasting link, your manyvids code, or just your name to be sure all those screenshots fans take will be a mini advertisement for you.

2. Answer questions! One of the most fun parts of a takeover is all the questions you get from fans. It’s a great chance for everyone to get to know you, and it makes users feel special when you take the time to answer them, making them more likely to check out your content. Be sure to answer questions in your Story so everyone can get in on the fun :)

3. Snapchat Sales! If you have a private snapchat for sale, I highly recommend starting your takeover with a small amount of On-Sale snapchat subscriptions, (Ex.”There are only 10 25% off Snapchats for Life in my MV Store!”) Users will rush to purchase them before the price goes up.

4. Prizes! Prizes can make a huge difference in your takeover! Anything from balloon pops to wheel spins for content deals brings more traffic to your MV page. Be creative, come up with a unique game that makes your takeover stand out! This was my game of choice for my last takeover:

• I used a canvas and painter’s tape to make the Manyvid’s logo with my name underneath

• I filled water balloons with 3 different colors of paint (and one with glitter!)

• I listed Takeover Balloon Pop Prizes in my Manyvids Store- $19.99

• I popped balloons on the canvas- each color had a different set of prizes (video bundles, photo sets, snapchat) with oneglittery mega prize that included all of my content!

• I managed to sell out of all of my prize balloons before the end of my takeover, and I removed the painters tape to reveal the hidden logo underneath! I plan on listing the finished signed canvas in my MV store :)
