Film a video, upload it, make money. Easy, right? WRONG!

Becoming an MV girl is a fun and liberating way to make money and great content, but it's certainly not simple! I am rather new to ManyVids and am by no means an expert, but I've done my research and have a little experience so would like to share 5 tips and tricks for when you're just starting out. This is for all you new MV Girls out there, welcome!

TIP 1: Fill in your info! ♥

Choose a catchy name! I suggest not using your own name. Think of something that suits your online personality. Whether it be naughty, cute or a silly play on words, make it memorable!

Be sure to make your profile as full and as juicy as possible! Breast size, eye color, hair color, height, weight, every little bit of info helps! This information will give away a little bit about you, allowing visitors to heart what they like the sound of before they get to see for themselves.

Don't forget to add a little description about yourself, hobbies, interests, quotes, a cheeky little sentence or two to draw 'em in... 

TIP 2: Pictures! ♥

Profile picture is veeeeery important! It's often what the eyes are drawn to first, so make sure it's sexy! Got big beautiful eyes? Perfectly shaped boobs? Gorgeous hair? Let us see! Your picture should show off your best features without giving too much away, that's what the videos are for after all! 

You can also add pictures to your profile, so if you've got a naughty public bathroom selfie like mine? Upload it! Again, this gives people a feel for what you're like! A sneak peak does a lot for the imagination!

If you have lots of naughty photos you can even put them up for sale on your shop, but we'll get to that later.

TIP 3: Social Media! ♥

It is important to get yourself out there, and the best way to do this is through social media.

I would highly recommend Twitter for this. Make yourself an account specially for your MV antics. You can post behind the scenes photos and little video clips to entice potential fans, and don't forget to tell them when you've uploaded a new video! USE HASHTAGS! This way, even more people can find something that they're looking for, and that something may just be you!

Another option is Facebook. It's the most popular social media platform might as well give it a go! Just obviously make a new page under your MV name, I don't think your grandma wants to see this stuff... *cringe*.

...Anyway...Tumblr! It's a good website to use. Considering it seems to be entirely porn these days, you won't have to worry about your posts being deleted, and your blog is entirely customizable. It's an awesome site to direct your MV traffic to if they want to see more pictures or videos!

Lastly, Instagram. Now, I do love Instagram, I'm slightly addicted in fact. But they are VERY strict with what you can and can't post so be careful with this one! For example, my entire account was deactivated and I'm not even sure what it was that I did, so maybe just use this one for non-sexual things.

You can also set up Skype, Texting, and Phone Call services which I will talk about next.

Don't forget to link your social media accounts to your profile so people can find you!

TIP 4: Your Shop! ♥

It is a good idea to add items to your shop, this is another way to make money and you can great ideas by checking out other girl's profiles! The most common things to sell seem to be panties, Snapchat access, and photosets.

Snapchat access allows people to pay you a certain amount in return for access to your premium Snapchat account. (A premium account is one that only that person or a few lucky people have access to, where you post naughty content and chat to fans). You can add rules to the description, for example, things that can and can't be done whilst chatting.

You can sell panties to those pantie guys out there. Give them the option to receive panties sprayed with your perfume or panties made dirty with pussy juice. Or why not both? You can also add a sexy note or photo signed by you for an added touch if they choose. Then send them out to their address and you have one happy customer!

Photosets are great fun. Have a little photo shoot, take some saucy pictures in that new lingerie set you bought! You can put these up for sale with a few censored versions for them to look at before they buy the real deal.

There are also options to add Skype, Phone Call, and Texting services to your MV profile. These can be found in settings. 

Some guys just can't get enough of how fabulous you are and want a more up close and personal experience. Just provide your phone number for calls and texting, or if you're using other messaging apps such as Kik, give your username. For Skype, services, provide your username also. This info will not be shown to anyone other than the person who has bought the service! 

For texting and calls, you can choose how many months they get to have your number for, and for what price. For Skype, you can choose how much you want to charge per minute. Pretty neat, huh?

TIP 5: Your Videos! ♥

Videos! The main reason you're on here. Make 'em good! 

Now, it's totally cool to look up to the super popular girls on here, but remember, they've likely been doing this a long time and have made a good amount of money. Good on them! 

Just remember that you're just starting out, and it's okay if you can't afford to buy the same cameras, microphones, props etc. as they have. You've got to build up to that point. So don't be disheartened!

Work with what you've got, make the best of it, and kick ass!

You can write a loose script to guide yourself through the filming process if you find it easier. For example, you could include lines, words, camera angles and little notes to keep yourself right. If you find it easier to improvise, that's cool too! Do what works best for you.

When it comes to lighting, don't worry if you don't have fancy lights, that's what the sun is for! Natural light is typically super flattering and it's often better than getting even more hot and sweaty under studio lights.

Most of us have smartphones now, right? Use the camera! You could invest in a tripod, and voila! Good angles combined with good lighting makes for a great video!

Okay, so you've filmed your video. Now what? Edit! Unless you're a natural, you probably have parts of the video where you really needed to scratch your nose, or maybe you just couldn't hold that sneeze in any longer! Editing is a great way to fine-tune your footage, play around with the lighting and colors, change the volume and add text and logos. 

Once you're happy with your video, it's go time! Upload it to ManyVids and choose a clever title that grabs your attention. Write a little description explaining the video, make it flirty and enticing (but don't give too much away!)

Add the tags, name your price and... You're done!

The previous tips will be helpful in getting traffic to your profile, which will hopefully lead to sales on that great new video you just uploaded!
