Yeah, I'd assume it's mainly because MV Girls pull in more money overall for ManyVids, and therefore the bonuses for that category are higher. In any case, this is awesome news!

I agree, I think it has to do with overall money earned on the site. I am thinking that since it is still kicking off in these categories, the harder the push the more the sales and that will change

Thanks. I think it's more to do with the wording not coming across right. I mean I know that MV Boys would have more male customers than females or trans, but I just think it was weird singeling out MV Boys that they can only make Gay content. It still reads that way a bit. They should be free to make content from any part of the sexual spectrum just the same as I can. Imagine the uproar if it said "MV Girls creating Straight Content Solo or with others". I don't usually get my SJW on, and I am thankful to MV for everything they've done and having such a wonderful easy to use site to begin with, it just seemed like a kick in the guts to any guys out there considering making str8, Bi, bdsm etc content being told they can only make Gay stuff while the rest of the MV Stars get to make whatever the hell they want. Wow. Sorry for the rant everyone. 😥❤

I was thinking exactly this. MV shouldn't discount female customers wanting to buy straight male content, it doesn't make sense!

The PC culture demands that everyone accept, condone and promote the LGBT community or you will be shunned and blasted off the planet. I'm just surprised they didn't make a Star for black people. IR seems to be the thing everybody wants to promote all the time.
PC or not, I don't like any of it. I just hope that when I select my preferences I won't see any of them. I come to this site to get turned on, not throw up. If I start to see too much of it, I have no problem going elsewhere to spend my money. Sometimes the owners of these websites need to remember who they want to make happy with their decisions, the customer or the "employee"

Agreed. If IWC can do a higher payout, so can MV.

Higher payout would bring more incentive for models to push traffic. I think the majority of models send traffic to where they get paid out the most.

I like the idea of convenience cuz even I don't like scrolling through my own videos to find one lol but I also wonder if some guys find other videos to purchase while looking for that one, but I guess that's their choice to look through to find it or search then. I dig it

Yeah, a tag cloud on model pages (or drop down list, to fit the current interface) would be really handy. Particularly when someone has a lot of vids listed it can be difficult to find content about a particular fetish.

You can search videos on your own MV profile: look at the search bar on the very top/middle of your profile page!

IWC has it

'ditto' @Ellie Idol, plus being able to search for your own videos types within your own profile would be a huge help when I comes to checking, seeing which videos are popular, finding specific videos and editing our work,  it would also be great to be able to shuffle th e order of our videos easier, for example if it was coming up to Christmas, to be able to 'pin' your Christmas videos at the top without having to trawl through the list on 'reorder' (that said there are days I wish I could just press 'random shuffle' on mine to reorder them)

Hey, everyone, we have already implemented this feature awhile back. If you are on a girls profile, you may use the search at the top for keywords and anything containing those words will come up (vids, store items, etc.)

I agree it is a tad overwhelming. Which prompted me to do a poll on Twitter to see how people search for videos on MV so far I have over 100 responses. Hoping for more and I will share the feedback 😆

I suggest you try figuring out better ways to promote yourself then. No other site offers so much opportunity for self promotion like MV does. You just need the skills to do so.

I agree, self promoting to me is not abusing a page. If people find a way to promote themselves then good for them and we need to start learning to support one another on mv.

So cheating and pushing your own vids is OK ...lol....Look at the competitors website which we do 5 times more there ...and we do not have to cheat or push

I agree with hot wife. There's tons of cheating going on here all the time. That's what comes along with the contests and such.

Wow.....why would anyone play there own vids until there fingers-bleed ....you cannot do that on any other site and gives false counts - yes it is cheating ....Being viewed are videos that are suppose to be viewed from clients ....Ever hear of Social Media ...

Cheating? It's called hustling and promoting. It's business. We are all here to make money. Quit worrying about what everyone else is doing and focus on what you could and can be doing to help promote more sales.

Wow, that's absolutely ridiculous, especially when it is one of the best ways for a lower-rank model to get noticed and not get buried like on almost every other clip site. And no, using the tools are recourse they provide us to market our content is not cheating.

It is ..talk to management a get their thoughts ...You may be surprised .  It is not a tool ...it is what clients are to see what other clients are watching ...However by opening this topic it has proven that this is an issue and the being viewed page is being abused ...and it seems that people have nothing better to do then play there own vids until there finger bleed . instead of making vids .

How would you know that other girls play their own videos? Why would you even take the time to care? You want to tell them what they should do with their time, but maybe be more concerned with your own. You've taken quite a bit of your own time to rant about it.

It is not a rant but a fact . ..If every owner on here plays there own vids and and is being viewed on the being viewed home page it is affecting business from other MV girls and Studios . For one it is falsifying view counts which are not true ..View counts are actual views from clients ...A prospective client sees a clip with a high view count - it must mean to them it is popular and more apt to but that clip ... Secondly is the being viewed page is full of MV girls and Studio's clips that are being pushed  then the clients are not seeing the truth behind and not seeing what the general public is watching. With the high volume of MV girls and studio's pushing their own content other MV girls and Studios are missing out when actual customers view there clips because the front Being Viewed Page is over loaded with Pushed clips

...Does that make any sense - or would it be better if all we Studio owners and MV girls just sit at there computer all day and keep playing their own material just hoping for a sale ...That is not business or a tool but abusing the intent of the Being Viewed Page and is absolutely insane .  For you that remember there was the same issue with the activity bar on the right of the screen ..Same issue ..now it is gone ...So, the question is would you rather have your clips viewed by clients now and then or keep abusing the page until it is gone. ...That is why C4S has a list ...BECAUSE IT WORKS and it is fair ...I know what I am talking about so do not dis me ...I have a degree in Multi Media Design and Product and we do this as a hobby to earn extra income .

The topic is not a proven issue, it seems you're the only one who has an issue with it. The reason they took away the activity bar is because it was slowing the site down, if you actually  payed attention you would see they still have an activity bar which is still a great way for people to market their content. It's also funny you bring up C4S because I have been on that site for over 6 months and am now just making payout where on Manyvids I constantly make payout twice a month.  I really think you need to take your own advice and worry about producing content rather than what everyone else is doing. I'm not sure how studio rank equates to MV girl ranking but it seems like you are doing just fine, and seeing how this is just a hobby for you to make extra cash, you shouldn't care so much about taking a feature away that has been successful in generating a profit for those who do use this site as their main income. 

You do not have a clue what you are talking about . ..That is not why the activity bar was removed ...The site was being abuse as it is now ...How  you and everyone that wants to dis us contact management and get an answer directly from them ..We know first hand ...We have been on C4S for 4 years and make way more here .....We like this site and yes a hobby ..however there is too much cheating and corruption which has been brought to the management team ...We have 700 clips here ..so we have no issue producing content ...and you ???.   We brought this point up ...for one reason and one reason only ..We would like to see the site evolve and have fairness for everyone ...Not just for a few select people ..

@Dirty, if it's so bad here on MV, why don't you just take your 700 clips and go to the place that will cater to your every whim. As far as the "fairness for everyone", nothing in life is "fair". The site was set up for girls to get their content out and i'm sure that's where their money comes from. I can't stand the trannys and gays, if I had my way, they wouldn't even be on the site. If they don't like their compensation, i'll tell them like I told you. Carry it down the street to another site if you don't like it.

No one said it was bad here ...it seems people do not like constructive criticism ... MARISSA..is completely wrong ...It has been proven and has been dealt with by management as well ....In fairness our comments are meant to improve the site not make it a platform for bashing ones opinions and comments .. And there can be fairness ...however greed needs to be over looked .
