So we thought we'd celebrate all the creativity and energy the MV Community puts into exploring the vast ocean of sexual fetish! 

For this special post, we invited GoddessKristie, who was voted as the MV Domme of the Year 2017. She helped us answer some burning questions about the world of fetishes! 

Are fetish models usually generalists or specialists? (as in do they try a bit of everything, or only focus on a few?)

I think most fetish models begin by dipping their toe in the water. They start out by specializing in one fetish, maybe something like jerk off instruction. But after a few months, they can't help but begin experimenting with new kinks. Before they know it, they are humping an inflatable whale, then popping it with their 9 inch heels! A model may have a personal favorite kink, but I think most fetish models generalize in many.

How do you think the fetish landscape on the web has changed over the last several years?

10 years ago, if you were interested in kink, you went online and googled for a chat room, where other anonymous users were, and talked to people there. Of course you were probably just chatting with middle aged men. Or you may not have chatted at all, and thought you were alone in the universe, feeling totally creepy for your depraved thoughts. But now, social media has made it so easy to connect with other creepy people! If you like slapping men’s balls, just search the hashtag #cbt or join a kink social site! It's so much easier to get real information on your fantasies, and meet other people who enjoy it too!

Tell us the strangest fetish request you’ve ever had.

I met a guy on a site I used to work on. He would kindly ask me to put a pair of ankle socks on my hands, like they are sock puppets. Then, of course, we have to give them names! He always chose the names, Snip and Snap. They are horny little snake sock puppets. He loved watching them hiss at each other. I always say, if you can think of it, there is someone fapping to it! Fetishes usually vary depending on the person into numerous sub-fetishes. For example, a lot of men enjoy small penis humiliation. Some men love a cruel goddess, they want to feel completely emasculated as I tear their cock apart, telling them how despicable it is, how useless, and how it makes me want to vomit. But another man may like a different sub-fetish of SPH. You have dabbled in a wide range of fetishes. How do you get yourself into the zone when someone requests a fetish you’re not really into and/or familiar with?  

I like to think I know a lot of fetishes, but every now and then I am surprised by one. Just recently I was asked to make an exxecutrix video, and this was the first time hearing of this fetish. So that morning, as I drank coffee, my wonderful fiance walked into the kitchen, and feared for his life. I was sitting quietly watching video after video of women fucking men, then killing them! He was incredibly nervous about what he thought was my latest fetish.

If I am unfamiliar with the fetish, then before I begin scripting. I watch a lot of porn based on that fetish. I try to watch as many variations so I can understand why someone finds it appealing, and also to see different facets of it. I want to be as informed as possible.

What advice would you give a new MV Star starting out to making fetish vids? What about a new MV Member exploring fetishes?  

You need to find fetishes you actually enjoy, maybe they make you laugh, or they turn you on. Your customers can see if you don't actually like it, and it won't create an immersive experience. I know many newer fetish models try to mimic a popular model, but don't. Be yourself. You are a unique individual who has their own way of appearing before the camera. People will be interested in you personally and you will be more successful. Also, make sure you have good lighting and try to record in HD. Your quality of videos will affect your success rate as well.

Safety is a very important issue in fetishes. How do you establish a setting of security and comfort before you go into a fetish session?

When I get new pets, I make sure to let them know immediately that they do have rights. They are allowed to stop at any time. I make sure they feel safe and comfortable opening themselves up to me. I ask them about their interests and fantasies, so I can make sure they they love every session we have. I ask about their soft limits, limits that they might feel comfortable pushing a bit. I then ask about their hard limits, what they don't ever want to do. It is so important to show your sub that you aren't going to hurt him, and that he can open himself up to you without fear of being taken advantage of. It is my job as the Domme, to make sure they know they are safe and I won't hurt them. I also establish a safe word they can use at any time if they feel like they are being pushed too far or they feel like they just cannot continue.
