Hey there people of ManyVids. So after much hiatus, we’re bringing back MV Exposed!
Today, we’re in conversation with Felicia Vox. Let’s jump right in shall we?
How did you get your start in camming and making vids?
I started camming when I was 19. At the time, I had just finished my first year of college but I couldn't afford to pay off my tuition, pay for rent, food, and transportation. I was homeless. Eventually, I had moved in with an ex-boyfriend and lived on a bare mattress in a hallway, just so that I could have a roof over my head. I needed money FAST and my job search for a vanilla job wasn't going well. Until I found a "regular" job, I decided that I would cam for a short period of time, just to get me back on my feet. I ended up hating it at first, but after awhile, I grew to like it more and didn't feel ashamed to be a part of the sex industry. I ended up getting a vanilla job as well working at a Walgreens, but still continued to be a cam girl; I wanted to make as much money as I could to get me out of that bad living situation. Years passed, and I eventually quit camming - it just wasn't for me anymore and it would cause me daily anxiety and more stress than I could handle. Instead, I turned to video production, and have been doing it ever since.
Describe a typical day in your life.
I wake up, check my phone for notifications and emails, and spend my morning making some food and respond to whatever new emails or messages I have. I run errands or clean my apartment - just whatever general chores or things I have to do to prepare for the rest of the day. I get ready to stream on Twitch and do that for a few hours; normally I host streams where I do cosplay makeup or a makeup look of some sort that I planned in advance, so that I can not waste my makeup so to speak, and film a video or two, or have a photo shoot, or something else work related. My boyfriend typically arrives home from work towards the end of my shoots, so after I'm finished, we eat dinner together and chill for the rest of the night. Usually he goes to bed before I do; I end up staying up for a bit to work on editing videos or photos or sewing/crafting, then go to bed when I absolutely cannot stay awake any longer.
You seem to be an avid gamer. Do you have a girl crush on any game characters?
Of course! I have a massive crush on Mercy from Overwatch - she's the ultimate MILF and takes care of EVERYONE. I also love Ahri and Nidalee from League of Legends (I even have a tattoo of Nidalee's cougar form on my arm). Most of my video game crushes are on male characters though. I have a thing for Soldier:76 from Overwatch and Geralt from The Witcher as well. I'm a sucker for that stoic sexy older guy type.
What was the most risky and/or daring thing you’ve done over the past year?
Moving 2000+ miles to live with my serious boyfriend. We had just started dating about a little over a year ago, so it felt super risky but very right to get an apartment with him. I've had serious relationships before, but none that had lasted over 8 months or so, so I was very worried about what would happen if things didn't work out. Luckily, we've been going strong for a little over a year so high risk gave me high reward!
What keeps you going when the day gets tough?
Video games, always. If there's ever a time where a game doesn't do the trick to help cheer me up, shit is seriously wrong. But for times like that, I either power clean my apartment or take a relaxing bath and have a nap. 99% of the time, I feel better when I wake up. I always turn to focus on myself when things get rough.
How do you like to relax when you’re not working?
Playing some video games or watching some Netflix with my boyfriend, going out to browse at shops to get inspiration for projects, or simply just going out for a walk. I'm almost always working though!
Do you have any special talents that we don’t know about?
I'm double jointed in multiple places! That's not really a talent though haha. I also enjoy singing (I've been told I'm quite good) and I used to draw a lot.
Why does MV work for you? What about MV do you like?
It works for me because it's a platform with more traffic than other similar sites, and helps support me enough to not have to cam (and therefore supports my mental/emotional health). Honestly, there's a lot of things that can to be improved about MV. But, there's decent traffic, contests for less popular models to get noticed, a promo blaster which brings Twitter traffic, and support staff usually gets back to you within 24 hours and they solve issues pretty fast.
Any sneak peeks on what’s to come? Future vids?
I have TONS of cosplay videos planned! Cosplay is my #1 passion, and incorporating it in my videos makes me enjoy creating them so much more! You can expect some Game of Thrones content in the very near future, some Mercy from Overwatch (I have to, she's my waifu), some Catwoman, and more!

While my answers remained mostly unedited, I do find it extremely sketchy that when I was honest about the "Why does MV work for you? What about MV do you like?" and explicitly expressed my likes AND dislikes, the editorial team completely eliminated anything negative. I had mentioned how the site is very flawed and how MV will only take certain suggestions seriously if it benefits them and not ALL the models too.
But that's cool; just edit my answers to benefit YOU rather than getting an honest "exposed" interview.

I felt like I was being censored for no reason, as if models aren't allowed to express distaste for their site. I'm almost expecting to have my comment deleted lol.
I'm just curious what you think is very flawed about manyvids?
- They make it very difficult for models who aren't top models to thrive; for example, changing the homepage from "recently uploaded" to "recently sold" has decreased payout for many models because they don't get the in-site promotion they used to get.
-They implement model specific changes to the site by default (promo blaster, custom videos, etc) without even asking models and it causes a big negative ruckus every time.
-Anytime models have brought up the old sales ticker on the homepage, changes to the recently uploaded page, or any other changes they've made, MV staff just ignores it completely and doesn't even acknowledge model complaints regarding "improvements" to the site and let models hash it out amongst themselves.
-Rather than increasing payout percentage even 1%, they prefer to have contests nonstop (and while I recognize that the contests are good for smaller models to have a chance for recognition, I believe that models would prefer a higher payout percentage than contests that usually reward top models 90% of the time).
The list goes on, but these are concerns I've seen many MV models have on a consistent basis.
And now I can add this to the list:
-When asking for an honest interview, they change model's answers about their experiences with their site to fit their own agenda and to cover up any flaws that other models have voiced many MANY times on their social media, their blog comments, and more. Another instance of them ignoring models because they are more concerned with their profits than model concerns.

Yess. I know what you mean completely. I think manyvids should do a contest only for new models or models who aren't in the top 100 monthly earners so they have a fair chance at winning and more in site promotion like you were saying different tabs next to each other like recently uploaded recently sold and more in site promotion to help new girls be discovered easier. The sales ticker we all want back I haven't saw one person say they didn't want it back ever.
I agree even a 5-10% payout increase would help so much rather than the constant contests. I like contests don't get me wrong but sometimes I feel like I couldn't even catch my breath before another one is happening and less people attempt them anymore because they know for a fact they probably won't win. It's really only benefitting the people who can win them and that percentage is small. I like the competition and I like winning them when I do but we really really need manyvids to implement stuff on this site that will help more models and clip makers out. We can't forget where we all started.
If they implement more things to help new people and people that aren't in the top they would end up making more money because then those people would be making more money. It's just really simple.
It wouldn't be taking away from the things that top models already benefit from whatsoever either it would just help more people get discovered and make more $$$
I agree with all of these completely. Too bad MV doesn't give a shit, or if they do, they haven't said a thing to lead us to believe so. And I KNOW they read these comments and feedback.
