I thought this blog would be interesting since most if not all girls out there camming has had a couple of bad nights, and take it from me, it can be very stressful at times. Ideally, you would turn on your webcam, dance around a bit and start earning tokens. Well, the reality is that this will not always be the case, so if you are new to this side of the Internet you must be prepared for these nights as well.
My first advice is, don’t push yourself too much if things are very slow for a while, odds are you will get even more frustrated if you spend 4 hours in cam and make nothing out of it. Just go with the flow and if it’s not working today, give it another shot tomorrow so that you will be refreshed.
A common trap that most of us have fallen into during camming is overly competing with other girls, especially the very popular ones. Watching other models after a bad show will only cause stress and make you feel like you’re not doing enough. Don’t stress too much about another model’s beauty/popularity, different people are attracted to different kinds of beauty and diversity.
Next thing I would tell you something that I still try to convince myself at times. A bad night doesn’t mean you are not good enough or your career is over, it happens to the best of us. Accept and move on, don’t let it drag you down. I know it can be the most frustrating feeling in the world but try to cool it down, give yourself a break and do something fun like drawing or watch your favorite show on Netflix.
At the end of the day, you are camming because you enjoy it and focusing too much on the revenues will look on camera as if you’re trying too hard to get tips.
The most successful out there are the ones that look natural on camera, engage with the viewers, and don’t constantly ask for tips.
Just do your thing, be happy while doing so and don’t let a bad night stop you from achieving your goals and affect you emotionally.
