Some women (or men!) probably remember what it's like to work 12+ hour days, running on no sleep and then sit for a moment, adding up the hours in your head because it makes no sense that you have a paycheck so small. Some of you are probably still doing it and I tip my hat to you! Being a part of the adult industry has most likely taken a huge load off your shoulders or at the very least, gave you some pocket money. For me, it has changed everything.

When I was 18, I worked part-time at a fast food restaurant and only had enough for rent. I had no food or furniture except what I managed to get for free off the internet. I hit kind of a slump. I bounced from relationship to relationship. I went from my own place to my parents and I never had enough money. I had 4 jobs within a year and none of them giving more than $400 a check. I was struggling in life and I can easily tell you I was struggling with my self-confidence, as well as with creating friendships and keeping myself healthy.

One day, I was sitting in my house and I kept thinking,

'There needs to be something else. I need some kind of break to get ahead in my life'.

I opened my laptop and googled, How To Make Money At Home. A lot of options came up but most were webcam modeling. I snickered because all my life I figured it was some kind of scam; but yet I kept thinking about it. I signed up and was later approved. 

Let's just say after my first day on camera, I was stoked! I was having fun, the men were nice and I was making money. It's been 6 months now and it's changed my life. I lost 30lbs, I make 3X more than I used to, I'm more open-minded in the bedroom, and I learned so much about sex, fetishes, and I even discovered whole new things about sex! But the one thing that has been so life-changing about the industry, is that we are all part of a community. I could meet another worker and BAM! Instant friends. We have a sense of belonging yet we are unique. We are in control of our lives in a way we've never been before! We are a huge community but yet we are rebels of society. We are beautiful, confident, and oh so very special. 

I am so proud to be apart of this industry! I can say with confidence that it has completely changed my life for the better.
