Making Anonymous Porn

Tips & Tricks

Homemade porn is massively popular right now, but many amateur porn-makers, like me, are choosing not to show their face. Luckily, it's possible to make hot amateur porn while staying anonymous. I'll explain your options...

First thing's first - if you have any recognizable tattoos or piercings, then this is going to be much harder. You can try some make-up to cover your tats, but that's probably more hassle than recording a quick fuck session is worth.

So assuming you have no huge tattoos of Barrack Obama or poorly translated Chinese phrases, then you've passed the first test. Your most recognizable body part is your face (in public anyway), so you need to hide that.

Quite possibly the most basic technique is to avoid capturing your face in the video. This can work if the action is hot. It's also actually the technique I use most often. It's low effort as you just need to avoid showing your face, and editing is easier. Just point your camera mostly at your bodies and the action, and not at your face.

This first option may sound simple, but it has some things to look out for. Your action will generally be close-up. Some viewers find that off-putting. I know that some people (mostly men) like the kind of porn that would make a gynecologist blush, but most people prefer to see whole bodies grinding and banging. So your close-ups need to have good lighting, and where possible try to show as much body as you can.

If you use pro editing software like Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro, you can cut your faces out after recording the footage. You can zoom and shift the source video using keyframes. Note that you will compromise the quality of your video if you zoom too much unless you shoot in a higher resolution than your output (you could, for example, shoot in 4K but zoom it in as much as 200% without losing quality when producing a 1080p sequence).

You'll also need a wide angle lens, otherwise, the footage will definitely be too close. Luckily, camera phone lenses are usually wide enough.

A more advanced option is to hide your face using a mosaic effect on your video. This is the classic pro technique for hiding faces on video and makes parts of a video pixellated. It does, however, require moving the effect with your face and that can be technically challenging and time-consuming.

To add a mosaic in Premiere Pro, you need to copy your main video layer and add an effect called a Track Matte Key. Then in another layer, add a shape that covers your face (e.g. a circle or square). The Track Matte Key then tracks the shape you added and you move the shape using keyframes.

I have to highlight here that adding a mosaic can take a lot of effort. It takes practice to track the movement of a head, particularly with the erratic head movements seen during sex. But I have used it in solo scenes as it allows viewers to see my whole body and there are not many head movements.

The final technique is to wear something on your face that obscures it. Masquerade eye masks are commonly used for this. Sunglasses are also sometimes used. I'm not a fan of this technique as it feels unnatural but some people prefer this option.

Possibly the biggest challenge you will face though is that people like to see faces during sex. Even boring vanilla sex can be hotter with pretty faces or sexy expressions. So it's more difficult to make hot and popular porn without showing your face - that's a fact. So somehow you need to compensate your viewers with extra hot action. That may mean capturing the amazing action, unique or creative sex, hot bodies, fetishes or something that intrigues viewers like interracial sex.

So, in conclusion: make your sex hot, unique or kinky, show as much body as you can and use one of the techniques described above to obscure your face. Then you can share vids of you doing nasty stuff without your neighbor recognizing you!

This was good! While I do have my face exposed I used to make a lot of anonymous porn and this would’ve been helpful!

Thank you for tips! I can add that every man imagines what he likes when he sees a girl that does not show his face ;)

I'm not sure I'm ready for the world to know that I've begun posting myself online like this, but perhaps one day I'll change my mind...
Until then, these are some great tips to follow, and some that I'll be using myself in the future. Thanks for taking the time to write this up!

I started with anon-porn as well. But today i think, porn with faces is much sexier than porn without faces.

Great article!😍

I love the advice on using the mosaic in Premiere Pro -- this is something I'm planning to do VERY soon for my preview videos :D
