It's story time!

How did you start in the adult industry?  How would you describe your producing style?

It all started when I was selling my clothes on e-bay in 2011.  I received an email asking to buy the panties I was wearing "underneath" the jeans I had for sale along with a couple of photos of me modeling the photos.  The customer offered me more money than I was selling the jeans for so it was an easy decision to just sell him my used panties with a couple of photos with my face cropped out.  I started a used panty business, and it escalated to photos of me modeling cheesecake pin-up style, and then more money to reveal my face, and then my breasts, and before I knew it I was making POV sex videos with my husband.  I extended my amateur video business out to take on custom videos and from there I played a variety of roles ranging from an eighteen-year-old daughter to growing to a 50-foot woman and crushing model houses with my feet (this is a niche fetish called giantess).  I took my little custom videos to clip stores to re-sell them to other people with very niche fetishes and I was doing well with this.  We soared to the number one within a year!  I was going to school at the University of Wisconsin with the intentions of being an attorney, but I had the feeling that I had a small window of opportunity to make money this way online.  I was in my late-twenties and trying to play a teenager, and I knew that as time would pass, I would age, and time would eliminate opportunities to play out youthful roles for my customers.  My husband and I buried ourselves in work, it felt like an incredible opportunity to work from home as early or as late as we'd like, and we wanted to make every day count with an ambitious goal of making 4-5 new video pieces per week.  We'd learn new tricks like special effects, green screen, and cinematic camera techniques to enhance our films to have an edge of quality over our competition on clip sites.  I thought that I was making such niche fetish videos that there was no way my secret would get out until I saw my video on a tube site, with millions of views, right alongside the most popular porn stars in the industry!  I was so naive to think that every one of my customers would keep my secret, that I wasn't a part of the porn world because I was an "indie" producer with a $200 camcorder.  An indie porn girl selling to dozens of people is labeled as an outcast in the same light as an A-list porn star who works for the biggest productions, and so why not try to go big?  Why not try to make the most of my porn business to see how successful I could be?  I decided I wanted to be the best that I could possibly be, not just selling to tiny niche audiences, but making a brand new business plan with a new goal: I wanted to create an erotic playhouse, making stories just as enticing as explicit sex.  You ask what of my producing style?  We've become an erotic playhouse.  We hire back many of the same actors over and over, and our members fall in love with their acting abilities, not just their beautiful bodies and explicit performances.

I started hiring amateur actresses, writing scripts instead of "winging it."  I found some of the most talented women off of CL, some of these women blew my customers away with their ability to step inside and own a role.  It was common for my actresses to play a eighteen year old girl in one role, and then a dominating mother in another.  My customers were delighted as they started to follow their favorite actresses within my studio and watch them play different roles, some that I wrote, and some that they'd recommend.  I began to hire professional actresses from Los Angeles in 2015 and we started our membership site in late 2016.

What do you enjoy the most about creating content for your fans?

I love the fans, themselves!  I listen to their suggestions, their likes, and dislikes, and I get to know so many of them on a personal level.  I feel a tremendous obligation to entertain them, to always improve and evolve for the members.  One member wrote such a beautiful complimentary message to me, and it made me swoon for days, he wrote, "I love the care put into the construction of the stories, the depth you draw from the actors, the quiet, tasteful interiors, the touches of humor, the intellectual depth, and the fun you all seem to have in keeping it together. Brilliant. Deeply erotic. Every actor in your stories comes across in ways I haven't seen in their work elsewhere. I love the lighting, the camera angles, the close-ups of hands or feet to show the emotions. Brilliant, each a touch your audience feels, each enriching these magnificent erotic works." There are going to be times when I can't satisfy all of my customers, but I can certainly try my best.  I am a work in progress, but my customers know that I am here for them, answering their emails in the early morning, afternoon, and night.  I dedicate my life to my work, and I know they see it when they invest in me.

We know you love what you do, but have you always wanted to shoot adult content? If you weren’t making porn, what would you be producing?

I'm probably more of a wannabe movie producer than a porn producer.  I'll oftentimes write stories and then at the end I have to take a step back and think about how to fit sex inside my story.  There is a limitation to story writing when the audience knows the ending will end in sex.  I oftentimes think it limits my stories, and every day I dream of an opportunity to make a non-porn story.  There's no time for this and I have no plans for this within the next year.  I've got two websites: MissaX and AllHerLuv and as much as I try to carve our free hours for a passion project, the hard truth is that there is no time for it now.  There is porn in every one of my scenes, but to satisfy my artistic side, I aim to capture emotion: romance, tension, horror, and lust, sometimes all in the same scene!  You'll see close-ups of an actor grabbing the sheets, running her hand through her co-star's hair, and close-ups of breathing, goosebumps, and exhaling in ecstasy as they orgasm together.  At the end of the day, I have to sleep, as soon as my head hits the pillow I ask myself if I am satisfied that I created art, not just porn.

What vids are you most proud of? / What has been the most memorable moment in your career so far?

I am most proud of my latest work.  I love "The Governess,"  starring Whitney Wright and Chad White.  The second episode prefaces that Whitney and Chad were once a "Bonnie and Clyde type," but a robbery went wrong and Whitney volunteered to take the fall for the crime because she was a minor and would do less time than he would.  Chad promised he would go to school and build the home of her dreams for her when she got out but fell in love with Jill Kassidy in college.  He builds Whitney's dream home for Jill and had a child with her.  Whitney seizes an opportunity to become a governess for the Whites and makes it her mission to split the two up and reclaim Chad.  There is another series I made called "Laura," where Jill's doll speaks to her and persuades her to do very naughty things with her stepbrother.  I also love a science-fiction themed series I am writing right now called "The Grass is Greener."  I am beyond excited to bring this story to life.

What do you find it the biggest struggle as a producer in the adult industry?

Piracy.  I legally pursue people who steal from me.  I think people should be very careful to remember the time and money cost of a production before they decide to upload it to a tube site.  I oftentimes wonder what these thieves think to gain from stealing?  Online friends or some prestige from "sharing" from other anonymous people?  I think tube sites are just as villainess as the people who decide to upload to them.  I use tube sites to showcase my previews to people for my website, and I have hopes of working with the biggest one but have been disappointed.  Tube sites drag their feet to take down a popular "stolen" MissaX video that is racking up millions of views until I send a second or a third notice.  I fear tube sites will bring down independent producers like myself.  I have tried to work with some of them, to earn commission from views, and I whole-heartedly hoped that I could have a change of heart regarding tube sites, but to this day I've had nothing but false promises and commission shaving from some of my popular uploads.

What future career plans do you have?

I've got two websites right now: MissaX (my boy/girl taboo playhouse), and AllHerLuv (girl/girl taboo playhouse) and I hope to hire on my first director soon!  I will teach her everything I know and I know she'll give all her love into production, as I have.  If she can produce for me, her and her husband can work as a team just as me and my husband have, then we can collaborate and open up a third website (or I  can have the option to use that extra window of time to work on my first non-porn project).

What are your passions outside of adult entertainment?

My two dogs.  I work from home and our dogs force us to take breaks to take them out for a hike, or to the lake for a swim.  My husband and I also love seeing plays, in the area, we have the second largest outdoor amphitheater in the states.  The actors and plays are Broadway quality, it's such a treat to go to their playhouse.  I love to read historical romances and forbidden love stories, and I think my work is heavily influenced by societal barriers between two people in love.

What is one thing we don't know about you?

I'm incredibly introverted and I fall in love practically every kind actress that comes into our playhouse.  We love the familiarity of working with the same talented and predictably pleasant actors, and we have had the pleasure of hiring back the most talented actors to come back to our playhouse regularly.  I know that if I could step outside my introverted nature and go to the AVN or XBIZ conventions that it would be great for us. It'd likely help us get the word out about our businesses, and the passion we put into our productions, but the very idea of the crowds make my heart race.  I'm most happy feeding the introvert in me by spending my days writing and editing in the middle of the beautiful woods of Wisconsin.

Say something for your fans!

Every purchase you make is a vote of support and encouragement to make more of your favorite genre.  I would not be doing what I love most, writing and filming erotic video stories, without you.  We appreciate you!

Such a good story. It was nice to read from start to end. Wish you get all your goals and make good your non-porn film also. Don't be afraid of crowds, they all nice people over there. Just go outside more often. (I know that feeling.) V
