During my time as an online content creator, MV Star, and camgirl I've really learned a lot from my fans and from my fellow cam models and MV Stars. The few of my peers that I keep in contact with are encouraging, helpful, and some of the friendliest people I've known. I have had good times and bad times during live shows and that has made me really treasure my true fans.

When times get rough whether selling vids or achieving goals get extremely slow, it's the MV Members and fans that continue to visit and purchase content that gets me through the day. I am truly grateful for the fans that continue to support their favorite performers.

So how does one be a "good fan"? Obviously, the main thing is support, support, support, the content that the MV Star makes! Besides that, encouraging and retweeting their posts and also helps tremendously. It is so hard for an independent sex worker to promote themselves, and it is so easy for someone to help out by doing these things! I love it when I see other creators and models retweeting posts and pics of their fellow models. But fans can do this as well and it spreads awesomeness!

The other thing is respect and support through friendships and conversation! When in a live cam show, I cannot stress the rudeness that we can come across. One of the most insulting things I've heard someone tell me was that my "breasts were like the airport!" Being the clutz that I am I did not understand the comment until later when a fellow fan explained it to me. They had been commenting on my small almost "flat" breasts! I laughed since it was hilarious yet I found it insulting at the same time. I have always treasured having smaller breasts than most girls but naturally, there has always been the insecurity there as well.

The next step to being a good fan is to be respectful. You don't have to support us monetarily all the time. Just a simple conversation or compliment is nice and lets performers know you care! We are people, just like you, after all. I have always wondered why people decide to troll and find something bad to say about the models they watch. Why not simply just leave the room if you aren't enjoying your time there? We are people on an adult site and thus should act like adults on that site, right? We can't stop trolls on the internet, but if you find a troll in a Live room, you can bet your butt that sticking up against their comments will make YOU a heroic fan.

The second thing I wanted to address was people who talk about money problems in chat rooms. I believe that models should not complain openly about having a hard time in the industry. Sure we can let fans know it has been slow. But it is just not attractive to demand tokens and tips from fans.

And in the same way, it is rude to tell others your financial situation and why you're not able to purchase a vid or help with goals. Simply keep that information to yourself, it makes the room uncomfortable and does not encourage others to tip who can. Nowadays when someone mentions a money topic I just automatically silence them in the chat room.

Finally, for me, the best fans are those who see me as a person and not just a sexualized object. Sure you can enjoy my content but treat us like decent professionals when you showing appreciation to us. Sex workers are people who are strong and brave enough to share the pleasures of their bodies with others. Respect, love and support us like any other profession :)
