What is the Hustle Honey Planner, and how did it come to be?

The Hustle Honey Planner was created by us at Adult Girl Boss. It’s an undated 12-month planner that has been specially designed by sex workers for sex workers.

The Hustle Honey Planner came from my own personal experiences of being a sex worker. I’ve been a cam girl, phone sex worker, and adult content creator, and I found it extremely difficult to juggle so many platforms, track my sales, and see what’s working for my business and what isn’t. Generic planners on the market did not provide the level of organization I needed for my adult business.

How is it different from other planners, can’t people go to an office supply store and pick up a planner?

After years of using generic planners from a store, I realized I needed more within a planner to sufficiently be organized. So we included the following aspects within our planner to suit all sex workers:

• The planner is undated so it can start being used at any time of the year and offers 12 months of organization.
• Each month provides a monthly planning page where you can set your money goals (Low, medium, and high goals) and plan your focus of the month.
• It also includes a monthly work log so you can track how much time you’re working each day, so at the end of the month, you know your average hourly earnings.
• It includes a habit tracker to be used for business or personal use.
• We have a section each month for vid makers to track each vid that needs to be filmed that month with checkboxes of when the vid has been scripted, edited, uploaded, etc. This enables vid makers to be more motivated and organized to film their content,
• For our weekly section, we have a weekly schedule included along with each week having a page where notes can be written each day and for you to track your daily earnings.
• A monthly finances page where all your business finances can be organized... bills, expenses, taxes, and so forth.
• An ideas page for models to note all monthly ideas.
• A section for phone sex operators to track calls and earnings
• A section for cam models for planning their cam room for the month, goals, and top tippers.
• A section to organize your fan pages and content to be uploaded, along with tracking your subscribers.
• We have included a section at the back for yearly goals, savings tracker, motivational mood board, and annual data stats to help you see what is working for your adult business and what isn’t.

How important is it for adult performers and creators to be organized?

I feel it’s crucial for adult performers to be organized, being an independent sex worker is a real business and should be treated like one. We all have expenses, customers, and sales, just like any other business. I believe any model who wants to achieve a consistent good income from the adult industry, then consistency within your work and a dose of good organization will help accomplish that.

The adult industry is more competitive than ever, and as sex workers and creators, we must always be coming up with fresh new content ideas, keeping up with the competition, and being ahead of the game.

You’re also an adult creator how did you first enter the industry, what are you most proud of so far in the biz, and what are your future goals?

I first entered the adult industry as a cam model and didn’t know anything about the industry at all, and I spent the first 2 years simply “winging it” which is a shame because if I had more guidance and organization, I could have utilized those first 2 years far better. I then moved onto creating solo adult content as a dominatrix, which suits my working style much better. I believe content is king and creating as much content while we can serve us well in the future.

I am proud of everything I have learned from this industry; before this, I had no financial knowledge, no idea how to edit vids, and no idea how to hustle. The adult industry is more than just sex. The models I connect with are doing more than just selling a sexual fantasy or service, and they are true business people.

I hope that moving forward, this can be more widely recognized, and more business tools and help can be provided for sex workers to achieve their business goals.

I also believe more self-care options need to be provided for sex workers so they can create a balance between work and personal life. Many sex workers, including myself, come into this industry because we have mental health issues. I would love to see additional support in this area. But I think it’s fantastic that we have an opportunity to build a career and create financial stability even if we come from a background of mental or physical health issues.

What brought you to ManyVids, and what do you like about the platform?

I am keen to hear feedback on the planner and understanding how it’s helped models organize their business. I aimed to make a difference with this planner, and all I can do is hope it does.

What would you like fans and the general public to know about the adult industry?

I want the general public to know that sex work is a real business, and sex workers are real business people. We’ve moved far beyond shaking our titties on the internet. We pay taxes like any other; we have to market, create a product, interact with customers, make financial decisions, edit content, and so much more.

Mostly you’ll find it’s one person wearing all those hats, and we deserve better recognition. We have worked hard to build the business we have, and I have much respect to the guys who spend their hard-earned money to support us and pay for their porn.

Porn is a luxury, not a necessity, and we provide a feeling, a fantasy an experience that you may not often find anywhere else. And a lot of work has gone into delivering that.
