I'm honestly really confused at all the negative reactions to this. I can sort of understand people being upset that a big studio is being promoted vs independent creators but in terms of losing money or traffic we don't have anything to worry about. The members of this site have probably heard of Tushy and 100% know that tube sites exist, they're here on MV for a reason. Have more faith in yourself and your work, there is only 1 of "you", no one will ever be able to replicate the experience you give to members.
Also, I've been on MV for 4 years and have seen them welcome big studios and celebrities, historically those accounts don't do that well on MV but they do bring outside traffic.
MV sold out to big studios so fast that we all noticed.
Next week, they are going to welcome MindGeek.

Not sure anyway said Tushy was unknown or new. That’s pretty much a “duh..” They are here because that old way is just that. This is as I’ve stated the way the game has gone and shall continue. Obviously nobody has anything to worry about. It’s like a mainstream band now looking to be like the indies in a way.
First of all, most members already know about Tushy. It's nothing new. Tushy was interesting when it first started but now it's content is generic and boring. This move probably has more to do with shielding and reducing market volatility than positive expansion. "Amatuer" models on MV have nothing to worry about. The future is elasticity, live-stream and customs.

I‘m sure that this will inevitably bring in extra traffic but I can’t help but worry what this means for independant creators especially considering Tushy has their own website? So what’s the need to join an amateur website if not to potentially steal business from people who actually depend on this for rent from month to month? Why not appreciate and promote amazing creators already on the platform rather than some giant industry that already makes an enormous chunk of money.
My knee-jerk reaction was the same, they shouldn't be here. But then, idk producers are allowed, so where exactly is the line? How big do you have to be before you're not allowed to join? It's hard to say, and I'm not totally decided that this is a bad thing. However, it does feel a little unfair to promote big studios on the official MV channel when they join.

I think her information about things like website building and analytics are a fantastic next step for us in the MV community to promote ourselves. I’ve had great luck positioning myself as a “top model” (I’m not, shhhh lol) to brand new clients by making my first point of contact through my website
Why would we welcome a major production company that has much more resources than independent models? The thing that makes purchasing from independent models is it's people supporting people. I personally give thanks to every single person that spends their hard earned money on me. Regardless of the sale value I always send a note of gratitude. That's the bases of MV, individual people supporting individual people. If people wanted to support a large scale company they would've went to their website and subscribed. I can swear MV has put out several articles about how much they care about the independent models on here. If that is true, can you remove the knife from my back please.

There is very much so an appeal for amateur content by much of the same people who also consume mainstream studio content. Part of the beauty of men is they like a lot of variety. I think there’s room in the market for us indie creators so I’m personally not threatened.

I read all the comments and my fellow indie creators bring up some really good points. I would like to point out that hosting a mainstream porn company will bring in new traffic to Manyvids, and new customers will make their way to other creators.
That is the way I'm deciding to look at it. New site joining means more customers who may browse the rest of the site.

I had the same concern. In my mind MV stood for independent models which is what fundamentally differentiates this platform from the big box studios. I thought MV was built up organically with this model offering the diversity it does. It would be unfortunate if indeed MV is moving towards main stream porn.
