I am from Canada, lots of models seem to block my region. I feel like I am surrounded by models that are at least somewhat local but I have no way to communicate. It's hard being alone and keeping myself motivated when I have no peers. My only Cam model friend was from the States but she quit when her family nearly disowned her for Camming, and cut ties with everyone from the life. My Husband helps but he can only do so much, and this damn pandemic has been brutal.

That's not the issue in my opinion. Just the consequence of the paid voting system and of the lack of specific content categories. MV privilege and promote people over performance, as the awards categories show. Smile, bush, bootie, boob, congeniality, Queen, King...even domme and sub rarely involve real domination and submission action. The only content category is anal and even this one rarely involves action with real people. It's an editorial choice which promotes a restricted amount of people and that with together with paid votes (where free votes count for nothing) create a vicious circle where that restricted circle always compete for victory, starting from the finals.

I diverted a few tips and services to paid votes, because one of my movie was nominated this year, I guess based on good sales; but otherwise I tend to skip contests: not happy of losing more in commission than I can possibly make with the prize. Sure, maybe more promotion comes for winner, bust since chances are so slim as things stand, it's not worth the race for me, until MV will change things slightly. Grats to all the winners nonetheless: the above doesn't take away their merits and talent.

Well Lana Rain isn't in list ?.. It's always a tough fight tbh, each year . I cried a lot for 2 years in the raw being not chosen , even that I'm kinda in top?.. And Sabrina is 10000% right... It's more sad then exciting for most of models and we all know how contest works (all contests )...

Thank you for blocking me when I messaged you explaining that I haven't actually won 3 awards before. I have 3 badges, but two of them are not Awards. I have been pushing for MV to change the way contests and awards are run for a long time now, so actually I have been doing A LOT to change this so that everybody gets a fair chance at winning. It is not the MV girls who win by themselves  it is the members who continue to vote. Would you like us to tell them not to vote then? Until Manyvids recognises this, nothing will change unfortunately. And as far as Manyvids go for picking the winners, no matter who wins or loses, somebody out there won't be happy with the result. But thats what this is all about and it is not something we have control over. Maybe I should have never entered into any category then? That way, I wouldn't have won anything and you wouldn't have felt the need to mention me in your comment here.

I’ve known Sydney for 4 years, I can’t think of anyone who deserves to win more than her. Yes she is number one, that’s because she puts so much time and effort into everything she does. Stop with the bad looser crap already...

Sydney don't let negative comments take away from the fact that you work so hard and have been crowned Queen of the year, it is an amazing achievement and its not nice of members to bring up individuals names just because they may not be happy about the results!

I might be wrong about how it works, but surely the winners aren't really at fault here? Hate the game not the players!

Dude, Sydney won because she more than deserved to and puts so so much hard work in to what she does. Of course smaller performers need to be recognised and rewarded for their effort, but that does not mean those who literally work their asses off for the top spot should not get recognition for what it took to get there. There is a lot that we are fighting to change about the contests and the way the site is run, especially for smaller performers to get more, and Sydney is one of the people who promotes and helps people SO MUCH. How can you be mad at that

I think your content is great and to achieve the top earner spot would have to take an incredible amount of hard work and effort. But beyond your great content,  you have always been supportive of the other performers on the site.  I know you have shared many of my posts on your feed as well as countless others which I appreciate.  You deserve to win the crown for your efforts- don’t allow the negativity of others take from your celebration.

As a member who just buys content from time to time the models at the top are there on Merit and hard work.
Some of video bundles on offer during contests are the most economic way of purchasing videos 
So a lot of Models see the contests as an opportunity to raise their Profile and from s business point of view speculate to accumulate 
My advice would be if you want to win that much work harder at it and if you dont then dont take part its not Mandatory 
Your post just smacks of Bitterness and Negativity which none of the Models on here need 
Perhaps you need to find another Profession 😕😕

Sydney Harwin doesn’t always win and I know for a fact that she has spoken to MV about how to make the contests 
more competitive so all models have a fair chance of winning. I also know that she’s a very hard worker and talented actress who deserves all that she earns and wins!

Personally, I underlined that: Kudos and grats to the winners! This doesn't take away the fact that the fundaments of the MV Awards were ahead of time a while ago, but now they are obsolete and that his platform never rewards content, but personality and just a certain type. I'm sure there will be changes.

Comments like this really wind me up, especially since Sydney has corrected your mistake and yet you refuse to acknowledge it and apologise? Sydney is the number 1 girl for a reason, she puts a hell of a lot of work in and always goes out of her way to help/support other models! In my opinion that MORE than qualifies her to win the award, same goes for the other girls you mentioned! Even IF they've won it 5 years in a row or whatever why shouldn't they win it again if they put the work in?! The pattern that you are seeing is that these girls are putting in hard work year after year and being recognised for it!
