There are many roads to success, some take the path less traveled, while others take the international super highway. This blog is to help guide you to being a successful MV girl. And, it’s broken down into three simple steps: Advertise, Make Sales, & Raise your MV Score.

1) The first step to becoming a successful amateur pornstar is to have a vast network of people seeing your content. One of the best ways to do this is to have a Twitter account. Anyone who follows you on twitter will see your posts in their news feed each day. Anytime someone retweets your post, all of their followers will see your content, and the more people who see your content, the more traffic your page is going to get.

The math behind it is so solid it’s scary. Say you have 100 followers, and make a tweet with your picture and MV link. All 100 people will see this. If 1 person retweets your post, with your photo and picture, and they also have 100 followers, 200 people will now have seen your post. A simple retweet can double the amount of viewers you get. To make it even better - there are people on twitter who go out of their way to retweet amateur pornstar content so that thousands of people will see it, and that post you made with your face and your MV link? It gets A LOT of people clicking on your page to see more.

To further this point, I recommend you hire a professional photographer at least once to give you some nice photos to share with the world. Higher quality photos result in more page views and makes you seem like a high quality girl. Another fun way to share these photos is to use Instagram. There are tons of professional magazine companies, and famous IG accounts looking for “implied nudes” to retweet and publish. FuseMagazineOnline, Impied.Art, and Budoir.Photograph are three great pages to follow and tag your pictures in. Combined, the three have over 250,000 followers! Image one of your photos being seen by that many people!

2) The second step to success is a pretty basic one: sell your product. Now that you have thousands of people viewing your page you need to actually sell something! Most people come to ManyVids to be buy videos, so you need to put a lot of time into making these sellable. Start by coming up with a good title for your video. Make sure to tell your viewer what’s happening, but don’t give it all away. The next two things are VERY important - the preview pic & 9 second clip. Since your viewer picked a title that intrigued him, now you need to really show it off. Try to find a provocative, yet flattering preview picture for your video. This is what people see first, make it count. For the 9 second clip there are a few roads to go down: 1) pick the sexiest 9 second piece in your vid. 2) Make a compilation of tiny clips - to show the different positions you’re in. 3) tease and entice, don’t let them see the goodies until they have bought the package. And the final selling pitch for your vid is to add a seductive description below. Explain what you do in savory detail. Captivate the customer’s mind and intrigue him. Write about a surprise ending, tell him how it made you feel - to ride your toy, finger yourself, fuck your boyfriend. Just make sure it’s VERY detailed. ;)

3) The 3rd and final step is a big one - so dedicate a few hours to complete this. ManyVids has a special section to earn you extra MV points! Go to your settings and then click MV Score. You can earn a total of 750 points just by completing the following steps: Filling out your profile about, linking your account to twitter, uploading 10 videos, having 7 pictures in your gallery, 10 items in your store, adding a membership subscription option, and filling out your services. Completing these will put you in the top 1000 girls on MV, then it’s all up from there.

The Services & Membership are pretty self-explanatory, but there are a few tricks to them. Start with the Membership - this is a onetime payment for your fans to gain access to a lump sum of videos + new ones that you release for a certain period of time. You select which vids are included in their membership, and you can even make vids exclusively for your members. This will entice users to join. Because of the high reward potential here, you can charge high dollar for this feature.

The services offered include: Skype shows, texting, your phone number, a fund me, custom videos, and MV Contests. Under each service is an option to set your rules, and duration (if applicable) of the service. For certain cam model companies you’re prohibited from performing Skype shows, so make sure (if you’re a camgirl) to read the through the rules and policies. For texting you can use an array of different messaging apps, such as Kik. Always be careful with who you sell your phone number to. The Fund Me service is just a place for your customers to donate to you. You can set up all kinds of different causes, and award prizes for people who do contribute. MV Contests can be used as polls. Lots of girls use them for simple voting purposes, such as “Should I grow my bush in?” and customers can buy votes for the contest. And most importantly, make sure you’re comfortable. If you’re offering custom videos state your comfort zones, and forewarn people to message you before purchasing a custom. That way if you’re not interested in making it, they won’t waste their time/money and neither will you! :)
