I look at the process of making content for clients as a collaboration where you are the producer and I am the cast and crew. In order, to be a good collaborator, I need to understand what you want backwards & forwards, inside & out. For me, it's easier to negotiate boundaries, prices, etc. on a case by case basis. (And it's perfectly valid if you just want a video like the stuff I already make but with a couple of things thrown in from the cumbersome ManyVids Custom Vid Extras list; however, that's something that likely better suited for a video chat.) The other benefit of establishing a dialogue about your Custom Vid request is that while my hourly rate is non-negotiable, I can almost always offer a price for the completed order that will offer you a not insignificant discount.
