A man disguised as a maintenance worker gains access to Rebecca's apartment so that he can test out his wonderful new device - a freeze ray. When he shoots Rebecca with the ray, she freezes in time and becomes completely unaware of the events taking place while time is stopped. When she is re-animated, she is confused and unaware of what just happened. After being frozen a couple of times, Rebecca becomes frightened and angry. She tries to escape, but she is again frozen right in her tracks.
