It’s one of my favourite times of the year…I’m celebrating bonfire night! It’s a big event in the English calendar, and it’s traditional to light bonfires and set off fireworks to remember Guy Fawkes. Because it’s a cold November night, I’m wearing a snuggly grey jumper, and I also have on a pair of black knee length socks with pink hearts on them and a cozy wooly hat. On my cute little feet I’m wearing my white high top sneakers, and strapped around my crotch is a crinkly ID Slip. I’m sat in the garden, and the chilly breeze is lapping against my bare legs and my exposed ID Slip. I have bought a large box of fireworks, and because I’m so excited to open it up, my bursting bladder is doing somersaults! Before I go any further, I’m going to have to empty myself or I just won’t be able to concentrate on the task at hand. And besides, it’s a well known fact that when setting off fireworks, you should always have some liquid near by ;) I stand up with my legs slightly apart, and after lovingly running my painted fingernails over the front of my ID Slip, I let the floodgates open. It’s a powerful and much needed release, and as the jet fills up the ID Slip, I can feel it getting heavier and bulkier around me. The wetness indicator quickly changes colour, and it feels even tighter on me than it did just a minute before! That’s better. Now I sit back down, savouring the squelching noise I make as my wet bum presses against the hard seat, and finally open the box. I talk about all the different types of fireworks it contains, and then unable to wait any longer, I set some off! They look so bright and pretty in the darkness, and I’m having such a fun time :) Then I pick out some sparklers and light those, and although you should only use one at a time, I can’t resist holding several at once! Well, I tend to act naughty when I’m strapped into something soggy ;) The intense sparks from the sparklers are casting a brilliant golden glow onto my ID Slip, and as I wave them around, I’m fascinated by how different the hues and colours are…normally there is only one way to turn a white ID Slip yellow! When the sparklers are out, I relax with my legs spread, because I’m just not ready to go inside yet. This has definitely been one night that has gone with a bang ;)
