Cuffed to the bench, Dolly Leigh looks down at her bare feet in stocks, her toes tied together. We apply six canes of different sizes to those vulnerable soles. As the canes get thinner and more stingy, we hear more sharp intake of Dolly’s breath over her red ballgag. On the third cane, Dolly’s squeals really begin. We take the gag off and her noisy gasps increase. We ask Dolly which cane hurts the most. Then we have her count down from 25 as we apply the thinnest, stingiest one for each number. When she messes up the digits, silly Dolly has to start over...and over...
