I just got home after a long run, and I can't seem to cool down. My feet are exceptionally hot, especially in these old sneakers. I pour water directly into them, and- ah! Instant relief. The squishing feeling of my soaked socks inside the sneakers feels great too. I pour more water in, and even soak my entire outfit in the bathtub, to get even more relief. I'm dripping wet and getting water all over my bathroom, but who cares! This feels fabulous, and I take frequent pauses to squish my feet around in my soggy sneakers.
