I would love to do more FREE videos like this. Here is the recipe and the directions. ITALIAN BREAD 2 cups all purpose flour 2 cups bread flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1 and 1/3 cup of warm water 1 teaspoon salt 1 and 1/2 teaspoon olive oil 2 and 1/4 teaspoon active dry yeast OPTIONAL: Egg wash - one large egg and 2 tablespoons water Directions: 1. Mix ingredients together in the order as listed above. Put your bread maker on dough setting (1 hour and 30 mins). If you are kneading by hand, do so for 10 to 20 minutes until your dough does not break apart and can bounce back. See video if you need a visual when I pull dough out of bread pan. After that, allow it to rise in bowl. 2. Put down parchment paper with a dust coating of flour. Deflate dough by squeezing in hand and make four loaves. Seam side down. Sprinkle with flour on top. Cover loaves with damp paper towels. Let is rise for 40 minutes or until double in size. 3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Farenheit 4. OPTIONAL Brush egg wash over bread if you like a nice crispy crust. 5. Cut down center of loaves with knife. 6. Bake to 30 to 35 minutes. Tap loaves on bottom. They sound hollow. 7. Enjoy some bread noms!!
