I'm 38 weeks pregnant, and it has been a couple weeks since I have checked to see how my lactation is going. I expect to have some colostrum, but I'm not sure how much flow there will be. I squeeze and stimulate my nipples in order to see what is in them and start to get drips of colostrum, so I know my boobs are ready to start producing milk. My nipples feel sensitive, so I know it might be uncomfortable once I start breastfeeding, but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I talk about the shape and expected milk production of my boobs, and how they are already producing different types of milk.
