With hormonal birth control, especially the implant, menstr**tion can be everyday for over year. Many people start masturbating or develop their first erection before puberty. Masturbation is stimulating one’s own genitals. The vagina is an internal, self-cleaning organ so please don’t put soap or perfumes in it. When you’re using toilet paper, wipe front to back to prevent urinary tract infections. I discourage using a reusable cloth to wipe away excrement. It’s not necessary to use a disinfecting wipe while you’re doing your business and those can seriously damage plumbing. If your labia folds are fused together, that’s a hygiene concern and needs medical attention. Circumcision is removal of the retractable roll of skin covering the end of the penis.

Nudity refers to physiology. Your nude self is you without clothing, synonymous with naked. Sexuality more pertains to the structural and functional traits of sex. Puberty is the process in which a youngin’s body transitions in order to support procreation. There’s such that occurs during puberty that isn’t directly helpful in reproduction like developing acne and oily hair. On average, people start puberty around ten years old and finish at seventeen years old. Everyone’s puberty experience is different. Some may have vaginal discharge, cramps, mood swings, eczema, and breast enlargement all within the first year of puberty. For others, it’s a vastly different and much longer story. Menstr**tion is the process in which a uterus owner discharges bl**d, mucus, dead eggs, and other fluids for several days at a time. Without birth control, menstr**tion is expected to occur at least once a month starting from puberty to menopause.

Chances of miscarriage are high during this trimester. During the second one, the uterus grows rapidly in size but leg cramps and heartburn tend to spring up. Labor is supposed to occur during the third trimester and there are different stages of labor within itself. The fourth trimester is when breast milk is produced but 15% of those who have recently given birth cannot produce breast milk. External means outside, it’s technically visible whereas internal means inside. For example, the vulva is external and the G spot is internal. Both vagina owners and penis owners have a G spot. While sexual health and wellness is perfectly normal, in most societies exposure of genitalia in public is considered indecency punishable by a citation and possibly jail time. Same thing applies to vagina owners exposing their breasts in public but the topfreedom movement advocates that it should be women’s protected right to not conceal their nipples in public.

Sometimes someone’s romantic orientation doesn’t align with their sexual orientation. Someone who isn’t heterosexual could be homosexual, bisexual, asexual, demisexual, et cetera. All mammals have an anus, that’s the crapshoot. All placental mammals have two genital orifices: the urethra and vagina. If you didn’t know already, the penis has one hole called the urethra where both urine and semen come out. By the way, placental refers to an organ called the placenta: an organ that only appears during a pregnancy for animals such as homo sapiens. Pregnancy is the state or quality of having a fetus within the uterus. In humans, pregnancy is usually nine months long. There are three official trimesters and an unofficial fourth trimester. During the first one, the pregnant person may experience fatigue and vomiting.

Planned Parenthood defines sex ed as “high quality teaching and learning about a broad variety of topics related to sex and sexuality, exploring values and beliefs about those topics and gaining the skills that are needed to navigate relationships and manage one’s own sexual health.” Male and female are anatomical terms but please don’t be fooled by cisnormativity. Please don’t believe myths like all penis owners have XY chromosomes and identify as a boy while all vagina owners have XX chromosomes and identify as a girl. Cisnormativity is the assumption that everyone identifies with the gender they were assigned at birth. Transgender people are individuals who reject the gender assigned to them at birth. Intersex people are individuals born with chromosomes that aren’t XY or XX. They could have YY or X or XXY et cetera. Chromosomes are DNA molecules that contain hereditary information, the blueprint of you.
