"It may come as a surprise that Elder Revolorio is a District Leader. Then again, what on this site isn’t a surprise? A “District” consists of 4-12 missionaries (2-6 companionships). District leaders check in with the missionaries in their district each night. That, and they give trainings at District Meetings each week. When I asked Elder Revolorio if much had changed since I was a missionary, he said no. “Mostly I tally up numbers at the end of each week for the Zone leader.” He laughed when I told him I had been a District leader on my mission. “Good missionary boys, and here we are about to make a dirty movie!” Elder Revolorio joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when he was fourteen. His reason? He had a crush on the Elders who were teaching his mom. And now that he’s in my ward, I can sympathize. Had I not been raised missionary, I’d convert in an instant if I were approached by Elder Revolorio. It has certainly been a pleasure having him serve in our ward."
