Magdalene St. Michaels is a recently widowed college professor struggling to find her identity as a newly-single woman in her 60s. When one of Magdalene’s students (Michael Delray) takes a special interest in the course, an unexpected sexual relationship develops between the brilliant older woman and an intellectually-driven young man.
