It was his first time filming with just me, and he was courageous indeed. He doesn't enjoy ballbusting but wanted to volunteer for the scene. Was he mad or brave? He was a joy to film with and very compliant. It was absolutely agonising for him to endure in more ways than one, and I was very proud of him. At points he was on the ground totally depleted and spent, yet he dragged himself upright to take more for me. Would you do the same if given the opportunity?
