
In this musical video, I begin by putting my pointe shoes onto my bare feet, and stretching them out a little before going up en pointe and walking up and down across the carpet, practicing different steps and positions. The camera stays on my feet and legs, showing my muscles working. After a couple of minutes of pointe work, I remove the ballet shoes and repeat everything in bare feet. This time you can see my wrinkled soles and supple, high arches as I work out, walking on tiptoe, pointing my toes and strengthening my calf muscles by working on making the most beautiful positions I can with my bare feet.
