Villains do love to monologue, and I’m no exception. I have you tied up right where I want you, and I want you to know exactly what I’m going to do to you. I want to see the fear well up in your eyes and hear the desperate pleas spill out of your lips as I tell you in explicit detail how I’m going to end you. It will be messy. It will be painful. You will beg and cry many, many times by the time it’s over. But you know what really makes this villain speech of mine unique? You’re no hero, so it won’t be interrupted. No one cares enough to come to your rescue. You’re certainly not capable of saving yourself. You’re utterly helpless in my clutches, and I’m going to relish every one of your terrified cries.
