I am so exhausted but at least I’m done cleaning lines. I sped the video up as fast as I could, if I ever do this again I will time lapse the whole thing I had no idea it would take this long! It was a lot of work which I spread out over two days, mainly because the sun disappeared and it was freezing splashing in the water in the shade. If you’re curious what I used to clean the lines I used hot water and dawn, I figured if it’s good enough for ducks it’s good enough for this (I think this about probably too many things in my life but ducks seem like a good unit of measurement so I’m sticking to it) Luckily it looks like I only have to replace 3 lines and I think I can get away with holding off until I have a little more cash in the bank because like everything else for a boat it is not cheap Today I am going back out to the to re-run the rigging and go for a nice canoe, I will try to get clips of that though I may forget as I usually do while I’m out there, get into business mode and just keep plugging away.
