A quick time lapse of the creation of the new name plates for my boat! If the weather holds out one week from today my boat will no longer be called “Barbie” a name I have hated since I bought it. I hope to have a proper renaming ceremony with a couple friends before the maid voyage under a new name. Did you know it is considered bad luck to announce the name before the ceremony, just one of many superstitions held by sailors I suppose. Stay tuned for a clip from the ceremony and a few pictures with the new name placard and perhaps even a video or two of the maiden voyage! Holy crow am I stoked!!!!!!
