Claudia peers down at you as she arrives for the first day of her new job. “Oh! Are you… who I’ve been talking to on the phone?” she asks, looking doubtful. She explains that she was expecting someone who looked a bit. “…Different” she says, trying to be tactful. Eventually she rolls her eyes, and says she is surprised by just how short you are. “I can’t possibly be the first woman who’s said this to you!” she exclaims. “I’m almost a foot taller than you – women notice that kind of thing.” But now she’s started talking about it, she really lets loose, teasing you about your height.
