One of my first naked cooking videos! I will be doing more. The dish I am teaching you how to make today is kai jeow moo sap or Thai pork omlette. This is one of the easiest things to cook, the only trick is making sure you get your oil to the right temperature so that it cooks thoroughly and fast. I hope you guys like this video and get to try this dish out. ❤️ ❤️ Prik Nam Pla: . 3TB fish sauce 2 Thai chilies (red and green), sliced 1 kaffir lime leaf, minced 1/2 shallot, minced . Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. ❤️ ❤️ Kai Jeow Moo Sap . 2 eggs (room temperature) 3/4 TSP thin soy sauce 2TB ground pork 1 green onion, sliced on a bias 1/2 stalk of garlic chive, green part only 1 small clove of garlic, pounded or pressed 1TB cilantro leaves, rough chopped 1 1/2C canola oil . Heat oil in a wok or deep pan over medium-high heat until the temperature reaches 375 degrees. While your oil is heating whisk the egg and soy sauce in a bowl with a fork. Incorporate ground pork then whisk in the green onions, garlic chives and pressed/pounded garlic. Pour egg mixture into the hot oil. Let it sit until it the omelette starts to rise from the bottom of the pan. Take a small ladle and ladle some of the hot oil over raw egg to make it firmer for flipping. Once your omelette is brown on one side flip over and cook until the other side is brown. Take your omelette out of the pan and place on a plate lined with paper towels to soak up the oil. Using more paper towels, blot the top of the omelette until most of the oil has disappeared. Serve over jasmine rice with prik nam pla on the side and garnish with cilantro! ❤️ ❤️ HAPPY COOKING! Xoxo, Nikko Jordan
