Third Labor: Capture the Golden Hind (Deer) of Artemis Third Lover: Artemis Dismayed by Hercules' prowess at slaying beasts and monsters, Hera and King Eurystheus give Hercules a different type of task: to catch Artemis' sacred deer. Hercules chases the deer for a year. Artemis meets Hercules and consents to him taking the deer and decides to have some fun with the hero.
