I'm working on this paper for class, and I have to write about "The Hobbit." But I'm just drawing a blank. I've been thinking about it for days now and just can't get the creative juices flowing. I even bought a replica of "the one ring" in hopes that it would inspire me, but I'm still stumped. Jokingly I decide to put on the ring to see if anything happens. Of course, nothing happens... or so I think. I go back to my paper and I'm so focused I don't even notice the changes taking place. My ears become pointed, my hair becomes brown and curly, freckles form on my cheeks and my feet get really hairy! Suddenly I realize what's happening and I start to freak out. What's going on? Am I turning into a hobbit?! Surely, this must be some kind of weird dream! Suddenly, my clothes change too -like something right out of renaissance fair or movie set. And then I start to think to myself "is this really so bad? Maybe I'll like being a hobbit." Turning into a hobbit actually inspires me! Maybe I'll write my paper on hobbit culture! But I'm really hungry all of a sudden, too, even though I just had breakfast... I guess I want second breakfast! I go get a little something (or a lot of something) to eat and then I'll start my paper right away! I think I'm going to like my new life as a hobbit!
