Famous author Gabriella Knight doesn't seem to care about picking up parking tickets. She always has to show off, parking her sports car where everyone can clearly see it, no matter what the traffic rules and regulations say. She has to make an entrance everywhere she goes and keep her name in the media - what could be better publicity for her new book? But the city is tired of her blatantly ignoring the traffic laws and never paying her parking tickets either. So they have instituted new ways of punishing persistent offenders. The enforcement officer confronts Gabriella at home. She is to be the test case for the new laws - she is going to be made to endure a humiliating new form of house arrest. She's ordered to strip off her short tartan skirt and black top, and to fold them up neatly - they are to be confiscated for the duration of her four-day sentence! She's to be allowed to serve her sentence at home rather than in the local jail, but being naked is a good way to enforce the house arrest. She's to be locked in metal shackles 24 hours a day for the duration of the punishment- but as this is a new system, they aren't quite sure of the best shackles to use. So the enforcement officer will be back once a day to change over the shackles to a different style. Reluctantly Gabriella agrees and she is locked into her first set of punishment cuffs. She is made to turn around while the officers locks modern Hiatt-style handcuffs on her wrists, behind her back. Their counterparts are locked around her ankles as well. And to emphasise the humiliation and punishment aspects she is made to wear a heavy steel collar. The officer leaves and lets Gabriella try to get on with her day. She shuffles around the room testing her limited mobility and tries to tidy up. She attempts to find a comfortable position on the couch to try to read. Day two, and the officer re-appears and releases her from her first set of cuffs. Gabriella is allowed to massage her wrists and ankles and rub in lotion while the next set of cuffs is prepared. The second day's cuffs are hinged handcuffs, but still the fairly light-weight Hiatt modern style. These are again locked around her wrists keeping her hands behind her back. These are far more restrictive than the previous day's cuffs! The leg irons are replaced with heavier, rounded bar Darby-style cuffs, which experts have now suggested might be more suitable for extended wear by naked subjects- the modern style cuffs behind intended for constraint over trousers or socks or pantyhose rather than on bare skin. Again the officer leaves Gabriella alone to suffer her second day of house arrest, naked and confined. Day thee is heavy Clejuso handcuffs and leg irons, less restrictive but much more weighty, a constant reminder of her wrong-doing. But day four is total confinement- Darby leg irons, Irish-8 handcuffs and locked in a small cage for the whole day! Gabriella soon learns the errors of her ways as she struggles to find any sort of comfortable position as she endures this stress position punishment naked and caged.
