It’s the first day of your new job. You’re going to be the assistant for the VP of marketing at an established, well-regarded company. As you sit down in front of your new boss for your first one-on-one meeting, you’re nervous. The anxiety only gets worse when she tells you that she takes probationary periods very seriously, and she doesn’t consider you a true employee until you’ve passed yours. She’s going to test you, she says, to ensure you’re a good fit and can perform your duties to her satisfaction. She starts pulling items out that will aid her in these “tests,” and you’re shocked. A pacifier, a sippy cup, a diaper? But she explains that this is nonnegotiable and you’re already making a bad impression. You don’t want to be out of a job again so soon, do you? What have you gotten yourself into? This clip is gender-neutral.
