Part III in the My Painful Arch series. It has been a few weeks since I injured my arch. I walk into the room after being gone for several hours. It feels so good to be home. I pace back and forth amazed at how much better my foot finally feels. It still hurts a little in one spot, but nothing like before and I am no longer limping. I sit down and take off my high heels shoes. I start to rub my arch and talk about how badly it hurt a few weeks ago, and how much better it feels. I massage different parts of my foot to see where the somewhat tender spots are. It is still a little sore on my arch. I talk about how my doctor told me to do foot stretches where I stretch out my foot by pulling my toes up all the way and them scrunch them tightly and repeat. I do the stretches a few times then get a pretty bad cramp in my arch that causes me a lot of pain! Ouch! I haven't had a cramp like that in a long time. I moan in pain and complain about how bad it hurts while rubbing and massaging my foot. When the pain starts to subside, I stand up and try to walk off the cramp. I walk back and forth several times which seems to really help my cramp. I can't believe how much better it feels. Just before I know it, I stumble on something under the blanket left in the middle of the floor which causing me to fall down and hurt my arch all over again! I clutch my foot in pain and trace my sole to find the spot that was injured. I worry that I injured my foot worse than the first time. At the end, I sadly limp out of the scene.
