Right now is the day of independence in Colombia. A festive day. Although the celebrations are more modest, the view is overwhelmingly green. In fact, the 20th of July was when it all started, an altercation began between Creoles over the blessed Vase of Yorente. Nine years later, on August 7, the war ended and we were independent.
