[10-2022] The dramatic resus procedure on Veronica continues in this third part of her story. She is intubated, hooked up to the heart monitor and is almost totally nude. Now the paramed nurse cuts off the last part of her bra to continue resus on her with the Lucas CPR system. They lift her upper body to a sitting position, placing part of the Lucas behind her and carefully laying her back in position. They place the AED pads onto her chest and then set up the Lucas machine and affix her hands onto the machine. They start the Lucas machine. During the procedure the paramed nurse continuously ambu bags her. Sometimes they stop to check her vitals and use the AED on her. The reaction is odd because the patient’s hands are affixed to the Lucas machine. You can see all the action from many camera angles.
