A slave must be corrected to better himself and avoid displeasing his Mistress. Sometimes the correction is merely verbal, but often times that is not enough: a physical punishment must be applied. My slave forgets the proper way to beg for things, My slave forgets he is not allowed to speak without permission - I describe his shortcomings and apply a disciplinary whipping as punishment. If the slave is smart enough to learn, the bad behaviour shall not be repeated. Unfortunately, some slaves are not very smart... And must be punished again and again. A physical punishment is not the worst form of punishment. When a slave repeatedly commits the same mistakes to the point of annoying his Mistress, he is better left ignored. If a slave proves he can not learn over time, he shall be dismissed from service. A slave who refuses to learn and take responsibility for his actions and choices is unfit for service.
