Pre-op planning and peeing Planning for my upcoming surgery, I ask myself what I should do with my fingernails because I'm not sure how a full mouth extraction is going to affect me. Also, because I'm perimenopausal I'm not sure if my cycle is going to start during the recovery process & long nails don't go up anywhere, because fucking ouch, but nails seem to take forever to grow when you want them to, so I'm stuck. Anyway, back to the clip. In the middle of planning the sense of urgency overcame me, I immediately lean against the counter and begin bouncing to try and calm the feeling down. It doesn't seem to be working as well as I'd hoped it would so I back my ass up to the toilet as quickly as I can and sit down to pee so fast I don't even have time to pull my pants down properly. By the time I finish, I've decided that I will cut my nails after I shower. I wash my hands and leave the bathroom to grab my towel, my pj's, and my nail clippers. Hopefully, they don't grow too long before recovery.
