Vederti mi dà proprio fastidio!”. Poi schiaffeggia la figlia due volte, forte e step-sonoramente. La figlia, con l'aria offesa, non osa step-sistere e si scusa. La Padrona le ordina di tornare in soggiorno e continuare a pulire. Scena 2: La Mistress è seduta sul divano del soggiorno, con le gambe incrociate, e guarda accigliata il telefono, apparentemente ancora preoccupata per questioni di lavoro. La figlia adottiva pulisce nervosamente, temendo la punizione. Trama successiva: La figlia adottiva, tesa, tossisce alcune volte, interrompendo la Padrona che sta rispondendo al messaggio di un cliente. Ciò fa arrabbiare la Padrona, che ordina alla figlia di inginocchiarsi davanti a lei, la schiaffeggia più volte e la rimprovera............
