It's a super hot day here in June (nearly a hundred degrees!), so I'm trying to keep cool at the local coffee shop. I think the combination of the super hot humid weather plus all the coffee and soda that I've consumed have given me an embarrassing case of the hiccups! After getting some strange looks from other patrons, I walk around outside in an attempt to stop my loud hiccups, to no avail. It's extremely rare that I get the hiccups-in fact, I only get them once every couple of years at the very most (if that.) I can't even recall the last time I had the hiccups, but when I get them they're loud and nonstop! I figured that since I get the hiccups so rarely, I better take advantage and film them, even though it's quite embarrassing. I wish there was a magical cure! I also wish I knew what causes them, because I can't figure it out!
