[10-2024] Lia suffers from asthma, and during a severe bout of flu, her condition suddenly becomes life-threatening at home. She struggles to breathe, gasps for air, and her heart rate is alarmingly fast. As the clip opens the Paramedics are already working on Lia, who is lying on the floor with her shirt cut off, hooked up to a 3 lead ECG, and wearing an oxygen mask. Her heart rate is high, and she is gasping. The paramedics need to perform synchronized cardioversion immediately. First, they insert a Mayo pipe to secure her airway and place the green defibrillator pads on her chest, carefully moving her bra aside to expose her nipple. They perform the first round of defibrillation, but unfortunately, there is no response. They begin ambu bagging her. This procedure must be repeated several times (with dramatic affect) until the patient's heart flatlines. The medical team immediately starts CPR with deep, strong chest compressions, ambu bagging, and further defibrillations. Several more cycles are required, using the ResQCPR pump, before the patient’s pulse finally returns to normal rhythm. This is an exciting and dramatic on-location paramedic feature which includes on-site cardioversion, Mayo pipe insertion, ambu bagging, symptoms, dyspnea, CPR, defibrillation, and the ResQCPR Pump, all while she has one bare foot and wears an oxygen mask. For fans of realism, on-site paramedic resuscitation, and breathing techniques. (in HD 1920X1080) - OPandER (FDCEX)
