With a swish of my hips, I begin washing dishes, hoping to catch his eye as he reads the newspaper and smokes at the table. He remains oblivious, engrossed in the news. Frustrated, I decide to surprise him with a scrumptious cake I've baked. I bring it over, setting it down seductively. Still ignored, I stomp over in my bare feet, stepping into the cake. Sticky frosting covers my leg. He finally looks up at my predicament, annoyed yet amused. I bat my lashes and wink, hoping to entice him. He sighs and sets down his paper, gently inspecting my mess.
