[03-2025] (English) Elena’s resuscitation continues here. After her girlfriend successfully uses the AED on Elena, she is still breathing heavily. The paramed arrives and start to examine the patient. They check her BP, and place an O2 mask and 12 lead ECG. The med team realize they must cardiovert Elena. The AED is charged but there is no responses, with her heart still racing. The med team repeats this cycle a few more times. Elena’s heart goes Vfib. The med team starts CPR with deep and strong chest compressions and ambu bagging. After the AED is charged again but there is no response. The med team continues with resus with further CPR, ambu bagging and defibs. After a few more cycles the patient’s pulse returns to normal rhythm.
