My stomach was swollen and it growled throughout the night. it was visibly distended, protruding from my otherwise slim frame. Its surface was smooth yet stretched taut, pulsing with each growl that escaped. The constant guttural noises coming from my stomach echoed in the silence My stomach felt heavy and tight, as if a balloon was expanding inside of me. I could feel the gentle rumbling of my hungry stomach.
