I finally got a scooter! I'm so excited, and to celebrate, I took it to the LA river! I rode it along the water, which is something I've always wanted to do; I also took it to another spot along the river, where they filmed a scene from one of my favorite movies, which was really cool. This is exactly the kind of adventure that I got the scooter for! And I've been needing a scooter for a WHILE now because I'm a really adventurous person. But since getting over 450 pounds, going on adventures has been pretty difficult. It's hard for me to stand for long periods of time, let alone walk around, and I get out of breath SO quickly! My big huge belly weighs me down and puts a strain on my back, and walking around carrying all of my weight has been taking a toll on my knees too. So I'm really, REALLY grateful for my new scooter, because it carries all of my weight for me! All I have to do is sit there and steer. I can relax, take my belly out and play with it, or even just sit there and eat! Anything is possible on my scooter. Well, that is, unless/until I break it. Its weight limit is only 400 pounds, which I'm already WAY over, so we'll see how long it lasts!
