The stepmother (Effy) comes home exhausted from work. As she walks into the living room, she sees her stepdaughter (Agatha) lying on the couch, glued to her phone. Effy had asked her to tidy up the house, but clearly, she didn’t do it. Now, she has to deal with the consequences. Frustrated and angry, the stepmother confronts her. In the middle of the argument, she discovers that Agatha had something hidden in her purse. On top of that, she realizes the girl has been using her things without permission, which pushes her over the edge. Effy demands respect — after all, it’s her house — and, unable to tolerate the disobedience any longer, decides to punish her stepdaughter.
